Longboysfan
Would you like to see cruise lines offer an Ultimat Ship tour. Discounted or first come first serve to the elite level cruiser on that line. Then any one else after boarding ship. What areas - if not listed please add in reply. Joanandjoe
We've actually had tours of several of these areas: bridge, galley, officers' quarters (but not crew lower than officers), and a breif glipse of the laundry on a housekeeping tour. It's always interesting to go behind the scenes.
KeithnRita
At one time or the other we've taken most of the offered cruise tours. Now we don't find them as interesting as we once did.
DebbieandJerry
I would love to have a behind the scenes tour: stage, housekeeping, crew/staff quarters and/or dining area. We've done the galley tours on all of our cruises (never tire of them). Use to be able to do the bridge tour (before 9/11). Really loved it. I love to learn about the inner workings of things. Joanandjoe
The front page of CC has a news story indicating that Princess will have the ultimate tour on the new Ruby Princess, at $150 per person. At that cost, I would definitely pass on the "opportunity" to go behind the scenes.
cruisetarp
I'm with you Joan & Joe - For $150 those things we have not seen already can stay a mystery to us.

MarcyandJames
We've been on the galley tour and the bridge tours and loved them. It would be very interesting to see the engine rooms and see how all that works. But I dont think we would pay for the tours. We can watch these things on tv when they come on, or also in the cruise magazines they do very interesting articles. Would be nice to see first hand though. sailingrose
I've done many of the tours mentioned but would love to see the lower decks and how the crew really lives. Many years ago I had the opportunity to do so on a small ship.......but would love to see it on a larger newer one. $150 is definately too steep for me!
