  1. Have a terrific cruise and make sure you lift a Frozen Thingee in our dirction!
  2. Doin' the Doc Dance....Doin' the Doc Dance....Doin' the Doc Dance....Doin' the Doc Dance....
  3. Have a fantastic cruise, Lisa!!! My favorite cruise was on the Norwegian Majesty, before they 'stretched' her...
  4. I had a similar encounter to Jacketwatch's, only closer to home. I sing at a local piano bar one night a week, and visit that bar, and another, several times a week. I get to meet a lot of people, and often forget their names. I was talking to one guy, and said, "Gee, I feel terrible, but I've forgotten your name..." He then started on a tirade about my memory, and how shallow I was, etc; etc; When he finished, I just replied, "Now, I know why I forgot your name....." Everyone around us laughed, as he slinked off....
  5.
  6. I have a Carnival Sea Miles Master Card that I use, almost, exclusively. In fact, I just charged my new A/C and got 3,750 points! I pay the bill off every month. My last cruise on the Fascination was free for me and a buddy. Working towards a free seven-day now....
  7. HI, AND WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY! If I may make a suggestion, when you're in Cozumel, check out Chankanaab Park. It's got a nice beach, snorkeling ata reef just offshore (you can rent the gear for $6.00 on the beach), SCUBA, an archeological park and botanical garden, on site; optional dolphin encounters. It's a $10.00 US cab ride from the dock and the entrance fee is about $12.00.
  8. No question.... I'd board the ship with no hesitation, whatsoever.
  9. It all depends.... If I'm on Carnival, UI dress nicely, on formal nights, and might even wear a jacket, but no tie. The majority of passengers on Carnival don't dress up at all so it's OK. On most other lines, I do take my tux, and wear it. In fact, on some ships 90% of the passengers dress up on formal nights and it's uncomfortable if you don't...
  10. I guess I'm the exception to the rule.... I'm not much of a soda, or alchohol, drinker, so I don't bring any beverages on board. I'm more than happy with Iced Tea and the fruit juices that are free....
  11. I have a medium sized fold-up bag that I pack. If I buy a lot of "stuff" on the cruise, I have an extra bag to bring it home, instead of trying to cram it into my already stuffed suitcases...
  12. I work fro a company that handles malpractice claims against ADT Cecurity Systems.... Have been a licensed Insurance Adjuster for 44 years.....
  13. The channel between Cozumel and the mainland, at Playa del Carmen, althouhg only 12 miles wide, tends to be very rough, very often. For some reason, the currents is swift and the seas are often ten feet, or more. The ride across on the ferry, a larger boat, is bad enough. I can't imagine doing it in a smaller boat...
  14. I always 'scope out' the buffet, before getting on line. That way, I don't fill my plate up at the beginning and miss something I really want at the end. In fact, the way the buffets are set up, the cheap/filling stuff is usually at the beginning; salads, pastas, etc; The carving station is usually the last thing you come to.
  15. The only thing that would make me give up cruises is dying!
  16. Terrific shots! I love the Old City...
  17. Neat-O! Great shots! Like the porthole on the balcony.
  18. nice shots!! Brings back fond memories of my Triumph cruise...
  19. The Century will be doing a two-night on Jan. 4, 2006.... It's the same itinerary as the Regal Empress. I am seriously considering booking this, but have to tak two days off (Thursday & Friday) and was thinking I'd rather take a three-nite if I have to take the time off... We'll see as it gets closer.
  20. The best produced, most professional and entertaining shows were the "Reader's Digest" version of Broadway shows done aboard NCL. I saw excellent productions of several, including George M. Before Star Cruises took over NCL, they were my favorite line.
  21. I would have declined the invitation, with a note stating: "Dahlings- Thank you for the infvitation, but I never dine with the crew...."
