  1.  I.ve been on VOS twice and have dressed up on all formal nights. I will say there were more than a few men with no jacket so you wouldn't be alone. I would feel out of place myself. Besides, I look GOOOOOD in a suit.
  2.  Thanks Joey. Welcome back to you, also. I hope you both had a great time, I know I did eve though I had my 1st bout of seasickness.
  3. :cheesy: :cheesy: Thanks everyone, I did have a great time. I thought I would love the ship and Bermuda would be so-so. I had it backwards, Bermuda was awesome. We hit 3 or 4 beaches and they were all incredible. St. George was beautiful, as was Hamilton and Kings Wharf. We can't wait to go back but probably on a differant ship. The Majesty just seemed so small and old. I guess I'm just used to the Voyager of the Seas,(my only other 2 cruises). Thanks for the invite Lisa, but although I did like the freestyle concept, we'll probably go with another line if we go again. :undecided: :undecided:
  4. I'm back from Bermuda and temps in the 80's to New England and highs in the low 50's. Ahh, home sweet home. No cruise on the horizon, so PCD is setting in. I'll have to call my TA and get a cure. Let's see, when is the hurricane season over. Maybe I'll shoot for next spring.
  5.  Thanks all. It should be a great time, lots of family and friends going. I just hope the weather is good.

  Finally down to sdm status.
  8.  Joey , I snorkeled in the Caribbean the last 2 years and it was great. The 1st time it took me about 10 minutes to relax and breathe correctly. Once I stuck my face in the water and saw the reef and the beautiful fish I was fine. It would probably be a good idea to get some equipment and practice in a pool.
  9.  I don't know about anyone else, but there is no 1/2 & 1/2 in our packing. More like 3/4 &1/4. I need 1 suitcase, my dw who I LOVE needs at least 2. If she runs out of room she squeezes more into mine. It's all good though because the end result is we go on a cruise.
  10.  Congrats gymbrat and let us know how you like the ship
  11.  Thanks all. I need this trip soooo bad. gymbrat33, congrats on your docs too. great ain,t it.
  12.  Got my docs yesterday. Finally just stopped dancing long enough to let everyone know. Time to start driving dw crazy wiyh all the " did you remember to pack ---- ?" questions.
  13.  Napping in a deck chair with the wind in my face. Nowhere in the world is there a better place
  14. :cheesy: :cheesy: Congrats, Sue. I'd love Alaska but it's definateley not on dw's list. If it ain't warm, she ain't goin'.
  15.  Lisa, I agree, if the weather is bad in bda then lets go to N. E. and Canada in August.
  16.  It's a shame you'll miss the last minute holiday shopping c-rush while suffering a few December days in the caribbean. Congrats, it sounds awesome.
  17. Jennifer, the computer must know I can't type, because it won't let me in either
  18.  On our 1st cruise we sat with another couple that my wife works with and we weren't sure about anything so we only got a table for 4. On our 2nd cruise, with 2 kids, we got a table for 6 and the other couple never showed up. I think we'll get large tables from now on so we can meet more cruisers. :cheesy: :cheesy:
  19. :cheesy: :cheesy: Cruisinmama, we were there last month did the stingrays and the reef. If you've never done it, you should. I actually liked snorkeling on the reef better than the rays, but both were great.
  20.  When I take a cruise, I hope I get to the ship on time and it doesn't sink with me on it. Other than that it's time to relax, or party or both. DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY NOW. P.S has anyone seen my kids? last I knew they were on the pool deck.
  21.  Yeah me!!! Double digits to my b'day cruise to bda. Countdown's on.
  22.  Suzila, don't worry. Hopefully the cruise lines would never endanger their passengers. I know they would never risk all that liability, and could you imagine the loss of income if they lost a ship? It all sounds like way to big a gamble when they can just go to another port.
  23.  Definitly pool patrol. Hey. how long has that lounger been unattended?
  24.  We saw Caribbean Princess in Grand Cayman last month and she looked beautiful. Have a great cruise and fill us in, we're looking for other cruise lines to. to RCI
