i am one that really does not care so long as i am on a cruise. so far been lucky and been mid ship on all of our cruises. done main deck, upper and veranda.

i have only cruised on carnival so i have nothing to compare to. maybe one of these years i will try a different cruise line but for now i have been happy with carnival. -

wow i just signed up with cruisecompete (on top of most pages here) and its 8pm central put in 2 cruises i wanted rates for and so far in like 10 minutes have had 4 "deals". the rates given are less then what i found searching cruise/travel sites all day. i am impressed. not even finished typing this and just got another rate. wow

in october when we were on the miracle at the previous guest cocktail party they showed the new ships and ideas and the first thought that came into my head(and those around me) were memories of the titanic when they talked about this huge wonderful ship. hope its just a bad feeling and not history repeating itself. -
ok i think i am ready for a longer cruise (10-15 days) and have been comparing and trying to decide which would be better. hopefully at some point in the future i will be able to do both but for now i need help. west coast to hawaii (not sure which ship or port yet) or panama canal (either east to west or rt) i am thinking december 08 so i can budget for it pros and cons please thanks

yes i would go alone. not being mean but my situation is different from most here and we do seperate vacations most of the time. last cruise i went with my 10 yr old plus other friends and family members i have more fun "alone" (or as alone as i can be with my son LOL)

how far in advance do you book your cruises? 1 yr, 18 months, 2 yrs or longer? when you book over a year away what happpens if you find the cruise cheaper? also do you pay it in one payment or allowed to pay over time ?

i signed up with southwest "ding" program and it offers "cheap" rates but you have hours to buy them. when we flew to tampa from corpus christi to our miracle cruise we got flight for 44 plus taxes. you just have to know when you you want to fly elva

hey everyone-- just got back from the miracle but we had some bad weather-- 3 days of rocking and rolling so i am still sick. but other than that i had a ton of fun. will give more details later as well as post a few pics in the next few days. elva
