I know they would never risk all that liability, and could you imagine the loss of income if they lost a ship? It all sounds like way to big a gamble when they can just go to another port. :smiley: :smiley:

Folks in Key West are hunkering down. Duval Street is shut down, high winds, heavy rain and huge waves. Howling winds for the last several hours.

Here in Broward County, heavy rain off and on, many fallen trees and high winds off and on.

One of my co-workers was supposed to leave Sunday for a weeklong visit to Key West. She spent today changing reservations, and looking for another place to visit.

My thoughts are with those in the affected areas. Stay safe, everyone.

The way we look at it is that if they're leaving the Space Shuttle on the launch pad then we're ok here in the Orlando area.

I was there earlier today and so is the Shuttle!

Sue...as the others have pointed out...the storm will be passed by then...you may have some ports changed depending on the storms effect. Don't worry! All will be well! Hope you have a great cruise!
