Stay safe, everyone. Right now, residents in the Florida Keys are evacuating. For now, here in Broward County, we're just experiencing bands of heavy rain and a bit of wind. So far, we've been told that shutters are not necessary, just to tie down anything outside. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Meanwhile. take care, everyone.Cheryl

Yes - everyone stay safe. Please keep us posted so we know you are all doing fine. Better yet - pack up and come stay with us for a few days, or weeks or months but bring your umbrellas and boots - nothing but rain again. Take care. ttfn Jennifer

Hurricane Dennis is down to a Category , and the eye is past key West. Live shots from Key West show very little damage, but a lot of flooding. About a foot of water and seaweed on Duval Street.

The storm is heading into the gulf.........
