Lisa63
Absolutely Princess. It was the smoothest embarkation of all our cruises, and we weren't past passenger or suite guests.
Dan
I think part of it depends on port city. I've only boarded at Port Everglades and Boston. Carnival from Boston and Port Everglades were both checkin and go directly onto the ship. Same as Princess in Port Everglades. HAL for our first cruise out of Port Everglades, we checked in and were given number cards, and we had to wait upstairs for our number to be called to get in line. This is the process I'm led to beleive happens for our Sapphire Princess cruise out of San Pedro.
Lisa63
Dan, our embarkation on Diamond Princess in San Pedro earlier this year was similar to what you described for Boston and Port Everglades. Hopefully, things haven't changed, so that it goes as smoothly for you. (ETA: Disembarkation was another matter, but that was due to immigration at the port.) JoeyandDavid
We say Celebrity, realizing that both RCI and Celebrity uses the same procedures now
