GottaCruz
I posted the perks in my review but figured I'd post them here too in case you didn't read my review. gymbrat33
Thanks Cheryl! My cruise in 2 weeks will be my 9th and when I return my best friend wants to go on one.
Dan
I was impressed when Carnival announced this last winter that they were finally doing something for loyalty. But I was also surprised that since their sister line, Princess, offers free internet and most of those Carnival perks starting on your 6th cruise that Carnival would wait until 10. But at least it's better than it used to be, which was a free drink at the past guest party LOL.
DaCruzNut
On my last Carnival Cruise, my Sail & Sign card was a "Platinum Card," instead of the plain red, white and blue. Everytime I showed my card, the Carnival employee would smile and say, "Welcome back, Mr. Stern...."
Joanandjoe
We'd be a long way from special perks on any line. After 8 cruises, the most we've had on any cruise line is (drum roll)-- Two. (HAL 2, X 2, Windstar 2, Regal 1, Radisson/Regent 1) Assuming we make it, our Noordam cruise in November will be our third on HAL. Even if Carnival Corp. had special perks for a lot of cruises on all of their lines combined, we'd only have four (HAL and Windstar), with the Noordam cruise bringing us to five. The Noordam cruise will be a real test. If we like a ship as large as the Noordam (at 1,918 PAX, more than 500 more PAX than any ship on which we've sailed), maybe we'll try another megaship. Similarly, if we like the Caribbean, despite hating the hot weather on our only warm weather cruise so far, maybe we'll cruise more often. Otherwise, it will be a long, long time before we approach 10 cruises on any line.
schatje
We have been doing longer cruises so it is going to take us awhile to get the perks. How many of you take 3-5 days cruises often? This could add up your total for perks in a hurry!
sailingrose
We 3, 4 and 5 day cruise about once a year. Would rather not of course but sometimes you take what you can get. I like that wash perk that Carnival is giving out........RCI do you hear that????
