Wow, Amanda. Thanks so much for writing such a comprehensive review. I feel like I was there with you. It's so great that you met AngieAnn and hubby. Thanks, AGain, for bringing Angie to CruiseCrazies. It's a shame that you had some poor weather but it sounds like you had a great cruise anyway. Your suggestions make a lot of sense. I'm going to check out your photos too. Thanks, again, for a great review.

Very nice review Amanda! It brought back fond memories of our Caribbean Princess cruise Sept, 2006. We had a drink with Carl Strong one evening. He is a very funny guy!

Hello Amanda once again,

I just pulled up your photos of the cruise. looks like you had lots of fun. I see a photo of the pool band Oasys! We thought they were fine provided one had ample liquid refreshment!!!!! Actually we've found all our previous cruises had dreadful pool bands. On some songs Oasys were O.K. but others-awful! How did you find 'em? I'm hoping out of New York Princess will try out another band. Surely SOMEBODY can find a decent band who can play Caribbean music!

We loved listening to their music! Whether it was in tune, I don't know. I was being provided ample liquid refreshments as well. :laugh: We heard them last year, but just as their were finishing. The Reggae/ Caribbean music is what we look forward to. Hopefully they will choose a good band for the Caribbean Princess out of New York next year.

Mike was pretty surprised when he made it as far as he did in that competition. There were a lot of people at first, but at the 3rd competition, it was cut-throat. He did me proud! Thanks for checking out our fun vaca pics!
