Our verandah for sure.... but every once in a while Tony and I will go and read in the library or small seating section next to a window facing the ocean - if the book gets too boring for me I can sit there for hours and people watch. If Tony was answering this I know his answer.... lying on the bed in the cabin with a good book.

On Princess ships I also love the Spa pool area - the swim against the current pool... there are always only 2-10 people there, it's wonderfully secluded.

sometimes in my room it much more peacful if i do have balcony and i would hanged out there to read and maybe do cross stitch heh

Usually on the side deck near the shuffleboard court there are chairs I like to nap in. Nice and quiet, plenty of wind, nice view of sea, and hey, nobody plays shuffleboard anymore.
