    We decided to stop in FLL before boarding to buy wine this time. DH was buying a glass every evening during dinner so I told him that he might want to sip a glass while we are dressing.

    We don't have much opportunity to get all dressed up around here so we look forward to formal nights....this year during our B2B we will have several occasions to do so and we will beable to repeat our outfits the second week. :smiley: We also like to dress nice during regular dinner nights and go dancing first.

    My DH's bag went missing twice to be returned a week later so we try to pack now with the half and half unwritten rule. Clothes would cut into the cost of our cruise too much to have to spend money on them instead of fun.

    We have been going for 14 days since the last two cruises so we take soda and buy more in port. We bought liquor from Princess to use in our room since it was a good price. We also brought along a small bullet blender to make afternoon smoothies since they have so much fresh fruit and you can order it through room service.

    Couldn't you email the excursion people and ask them where you are expected to meet if you should decide to use their service? Planning is part of the fun :smiley: Glad to see you posting.

    I your looking for a quiet out of the way place to hide we found that some ships have a small forward deck that is only accessible through a hallway door. Take a peek around the ship and see if there are any unusual doors forward, there might be a secret place to watch the sunrise or set. Andre' and I found them twice. One on the Celebrity Zenith and the second on the Sea Princess. No one else was there :kiss: happy hunting

    How terrible for the passenger. I can't understand how this can happen when things are run by computer now days? But this is not the first time we read about a ship rolling. I hope they discover what is causing this problem before someone dies. Let's hope all that were involved recover fully.

    This is good advertising for Princess. Treat the passengers right and they will continue with them. We are sailing with them again in December.

    DH is a Chief Mechanical Engineer, he designs and oversees the installation of paper machinery. I have a small Day Care in our home.

    I'm glad they are getting the people out and getting them to safety. I always wanted to travel in this area of the world but if things don't change I for one will not venture there.

    You have to wonder how qualified the doctors are that take jobs aboard a ship? My mind can race on this one but I'll leave it up to your opinion.

    I'm not a gambler but this seems to be just one more way to do away with jobs and the personal touch. We live in the machine age.
