Sad to say I don't own one. I think if I were to travel on the more expensive cruise lines such as Crystal, Seabourne or Cunard I would probably splash out on one. Normally I make do with a dark blue sports jacket and grey pants with white shirt and tie. What I have witnessed on formal nights in some of the dining rooms on board ships it would appear I'm well dressed!!!

Same here. Got a black shirt and blue tie and cumberbun also to go with it.

I bought one for cruising and have worn it three times. It's lots of fun dressing up like an adult. :grin:

I own two tux's. I sort of outgrew the first, but only by an inch or so, so I used it as an excuse to buy the second one. Now, I fit into both....

As far as being "well-dressed" in a dark suit, that works fine for many lines; Carnival passengers tend to be very informal and I have seen jeans and t-shirts on 'formal nights.' However, on some lines you do see most men waering a tux...

I have a tuxedo, and a white dinner jacket. That way, I can have a different look on the 2nd formal night, in warmer climates.

DH doesn't have tux but wears a black suit. We did rent a tux from the cruiselines for our 20th anniversary and he looked marvelous! We tried to buy him a tux but with his weight loss we decided to wait until he levels off.
