What excursions if any do you prefer, me and my family love snorkelling, and on this crown princess cruise we are going snorkelling in 3 ports, and touring San Juan

As Donna and I have to put up with 4 months of Winter every year, we always go for the beach excursions-lots of sunbathing and swimming in the sea.

Beach usually for us too and a little shopping. If DD comes snorkeling at least once during the week.

We will snorkle in every port in the morniing and then shop or take an excursion, but usually we "hire" a local taxi driver to show us the town.

hope you have better luck with your tour of San Juan than we did. loved St. Thomas and Tortola but San Juan was not that interesting. we like to do the beach thing also. plus some shopping when we can find the good deals. if we spend too much on all the trinkets for everyone then it's longer till we cruise again. :biggrin:

Anything to do with animals is our first choice (I do miss my "kids" when I'm away LOL) second choice would be a city type tour to learn all we can about where we are. Then - on the way back - SHOPPING!

Anything but shopping. DW and DDs have differant idea. I like to hit the beach and snorkel at least once. :biggrin:

Actually if it a beachy sort of cruise we do anything but go to the beach. :smile:

Typically we will hire a cab to see the sights. B4 going I usually look up the ports for the attractions, pick the ones we want to see, then go. We do this in non-beach ports too. Also I love to shop not so much to buy alot but to meander the streets, talk to the locals, etc. Last month in the Baltic it was great relaxation just to sit at a sidewalk cafe for a taste of not only local food but the local life in general. :cool2:

Ha Ha Jenn -my friend whom we are cruising with says that is the body she has and if people don't want to see the jiggles and "hail damage", they can look the other way!!!
