KeithnRita
What a tragedy. Prayers go out for all the victims and their families. The Carnival Splendor and Costa Concordia are sister ships from the same ship builder. Isn't this the 100 year anniversary of the Titantic? We wonder how it will be spun on the news? Shari2
This is so tragic! I would have been so terrified. I heard somewhere that the captain went in farther to shore to get people off the ship better, but by then the ship was listing so bad that you couldn't use the lifeboats...Marc has always told me that in an emergency at sea like this that you may not be able to use one whole side of the ships lifeboats...So terrible that they were told to stay in their room, and no one was leading them on what to do.
