Welcome to Cruisecrazies. We haven't sailed on Independence, but we sailed on Freedom this past January. It's an awesome class of ship. The Royal promenade is quite spectacular and make sure you don't miss the parade. There is never a dull moment on the ship, with ice skating, climbing the rockwall and surfing. Our grandson and SIL had a great time surfing on the Flowrider. The ice show is also very good, especially when you realise you are on a cruise ship in the middle of the Caribbean.
