*drool* THAT LOOKS DELICIOUS!!!!!!! aww im missing my cruise now because of that, thanks for the pictures!

No flame there too Terry! How right you are! Drinking causes many problems and teenagers may do stupid things when drunk(heck even adults do too, but mostly teenagers). They should be held accountable! I wonder what the consequences are if an underaged minor is caught drinking by security. Whatever it is, I'm sure they'll get what they deserve. Well said Terry!

I'm not too picky and don't really mind where as long as I'm on the ship. Though you know what I find fun(pardon me), is having a room near the back of the ship. The vibrations from the propeller are nonexistant as far as I know, but the rocking motion of the boat rocks me to sleep :D. I really like that, very comfortable. Not to mention, when the boat docks, its really neat to see your whole room bend out of shape as the ship turns into port. But then it makes me sad returning...

I want to ride a cruise ship that has an amusement park... Hmm for me it would probably be the Cunard ships or any ship that goes around the world! Schooling keeps me busy enough so I won't have time ever probably to ride a cruise around the world, though I would so love to. Not to mention it is quiet expensive, about 1/4 a million if I'm correct.

Ditto! We'll get a balcony one day, keep on trudging. At least we're on a cruise ship! What more could you ask for?

Lucky you Cherole, hope you had fun on your Mercury sailing Rat. Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.

My least favourite thing about a cruise(besides the mentioned long waits for boarding and the disembarktion(yes I cried too)) would be nincomdic teenagers that curse randomly and loudly make weird noises. This proves to be a horrifying experience as many adults walk by and whisper about the younger generation. There is always at least a group of teenagers on the cruise who have the need to yell curses and insult the waiters and ship cleaners. I find that downright disgusting and outright insulting to others.

Haha, thats a good one.

Hey sorry for this ad on, I forgot to mention this when I was typing up my Freedom of the Sea's review. If you do go on this ship, don't take me wrong, there was never a second where I was bored, tons of stuff to do! Surfing, skating, swiming, etc... DO NOT ORDER A BALCONY ROOM ON THE STERN HALF OF THE SHIP! Sterm is back half right? You will not find a blacony when you open the window, you will find a black soot covered platform where the wind is blackening your window/door sliding. Why? I believe its a flaw in the ship design is that the smoke stack is too short and angled too far. If you stand anywhere behind the smock stack, that includes drinking at the snack shack, surfing on the surf machine, chilling at the back, WATCH YOUR HEAD! It's snowing soot, VERY HOT SOOT! I was sitting there watching the surfers on the first day, i leaned back and thoght to myself, this is life... ah... *zzzt* AIEEEEE!!! HOT HOT HOT HOT! *running around screaming blood murder!* Soot was raining down, very hot soot! Don't go anywhere behind the smockstack without a baseball cap and long sleeved pants and shirt, unless you are surfing, then get in the surf machine FAST! There is literally black soot particles everywhere on the ground and bleachers. The captain and his very very beautiful blonde wife usually do commercials and cruise tv in front of the surf machine. I got to be in one of them, yay! How? Try barrel rolling on the surf machine. I went from one side of the surf machine, thrown over the lane divider and spat out by the water jet and landing still on my bogey board in the next surfing lane with some other guy lol. Hope this information is useful. The first paragraph I mean, haha.

Wow that must suck.

Yea, as long as you had fun. I think when I find time I'll put up a review for my last year's cruise too!

Princess cruise lines for sure! They have an excellent teen room, delicious food, service is pretty good, and so many fun teen activities. The teen room was totally rad, since it had six PS2 game consoles inside with really up to date games. It also had this nice giant screen projector tv on the wall and a jukebox. The room had a bar and a dance floor too, too bad no one was working at the bar though. Met many great friends there too, whenever we got bored we'd go play video games and that ship didnt have as many "raves" as the freedom so I'm happy. :)

WHEEE ROLLING AROUND ON THE SHIP! A whole new meaning to rock the boat. My mom gets seasick easily, she avoids looking out the windows and when she gets sick she closes her eyes and counts to ten, or she sits down at the buffet and eats. It takes her mind off the waves she says.

Scam gets cruise-goers ticket to nowhere

Yea no kidding, i'd rather book through a TA too. -
Bon Voyage! Have fun on your trip, tell us about it when you get back!

Wow , lucky.

Welcome back! Good to hear you're safe and sound, next time you should bring some sea sick medication like gravel. I never bring any because I like having the ship rock around, odd as it may seem. Except durring my meals!

I had a full week not having a cruise schedulded!
Jimmykaboots replied to btate's topic in Let's Talk Cruise!
Congrats, isnt planning it exciting?! I like waiting for it the most though, especially the last few weeks before the cruise. O so excited, nothing can go wrong! Hope you have loads of fun. -
Port Canaveral, that sounds familiar. Which state or city is it in or near? I have may been there, or maybe I'm confusing it with Carnival Cruises.

Well going on to about cancelations due to chartered ships. I believe chartered ships do have the right of way, thats just my opinion though. They should let people know a decent amount of time ahead though. I can't just say I'll charted some ship a month from now, a sufficent amount of time is necessary I believe yet money does have a certain tinge of temptation to cruise line owners.

I haven't been to any of these ports either, sorry. But my favourite excursion for cruises is ocean kayaking and river kayaking! I absolutely love it, totally fun. If they offer kayaking you should do it! Usually it's not too expensive, well most of the time it isn't. The only problem is, I'm kind opf a big fella so I need to bring a pump along so I can pump out the water that keeps washing in from the wakes of other nearby ships. Otherwise it's awesome!

Yea welcome back! If you have time, tell us about your cruise, maybe write a review! I'd like to know how it was. I hate it when vacations end, but you can always look forward to the next one!
